There will be few who know what lies behind these exotic words. But they are actuallyt wo fascinating but little known instruments from the Baroque period.

A clavi-organ is an ingenious combination of a harpsichord and an organ. It is a costly, pretigious instrument that was found in the instrument collections in many European courts.

Galoubet and tambourin is the aristocratic versionof the shepherd's pipe and tabor, where the flute and drum are played simultaneously be one musician. This most refined version of the instrument was used in France to perform both dances as well as suites and sonatas.

Jette Mogensen and Poul Høxbro, two Danish virtuosi, have specialised in these instruments and offer a completely unique programme of both well known and seldom heard baroque music - a firework display of new but authentic sounds.

Det er nok de færreste, som ved,  hvad der skjuler sig bag disse eksotiske ord. Men de betegner faktisk to fantastiske og fascinerende instrumenter fra barokken.

Claviorganum er en sindrig kombination af et cembalo og et orgel. Et kostbart prestigeinstrument som mange hoffer rundt om i Europa havde i sin instrumentsamling.

Galoubet & tambourin er den aristokratiske udgave af hyrdernes pipe-og-tromme. Fløjte og tromme spillet af én og samme person, og her i den fornemste udgave, på hvilken man i Frankrig spillede både suiter og sonater.

De to danske virtuoser, Jette Mogensen og Poul Høxbro, har hver for sig specialiseret sig i netop disse instrumenter og kan som noget helt enestående tilbyde en udsøgt koncert med både kendte og sjældent hørte baroktoner i et festfyrværkeri af nye men autentiske klange.
